The article discusses the differences in the system of agreement between Tamil and Telugu, two genetically related languages belonging to Dravidian languages of India. A table is provided that shows the agreement markers of both languages. Mass nouns and the corresponding agreement to be used are also tackled. The variations between the languages in marking agreement is noted despite the fact that the system is more or less similar in Tamil and Telugu.
