- Abstract
The article presents a case of a 60-year-old man who was diagnosed with massive cervical osteophyte complex at the level of the fifth and sixth cervical vertebrae. His pernasal flexible fibreoptic examination of the pharynx revealed the bulging of the posterior pharyngeal wall at the level of the larynx. The complication was caused by the presence of osteophyte which was treated through excision via an anterolateral transcervical procedure.
