- Title
Methodology and software to detect viral integration site hot-spots.
- Abstract
The article cites a research study that describes two new methods for defining viral integration site hot-spots that are relatively independent of data set size. The first method "zthreshold" tallies the number of vector integration site (VIS) per bin; second method "BCP" applies a Bayesian change-point model to the z-scores to define hotspots. The z-threshold and BCP methods should enable one to study hot-spot conservation across a variety of VIS data sets.
