- Abstract
An interview with childhood instructor Cheryl Lynn Johnson of Washington State University is presented. Johnson shares that early childhood teachers use persona doll as a teaching tool for solving problems and educating social-emotional skills. She mentions that persona dolls allow children to reflect on valuable social issues in a good environment. She adds that the most influential persona doll lesson that she has taught is about the story of an African American doll.
