The article focuses on several transformations and advancements involving the Special Interest Group for Teacher Educators (SIGTE) in the U.S. Initially, the author focuses on how SIGTE's teaching objectives were modified, highlighting the introduction of Internet in education. He also tackles on the institution of geographic information systems, the use of Google Earth and Google Maps for educators, and SIGTE's advocacy effort enhancements in teaching education. The author points out the significance of Google Earth in education due to its clear educational purposes.
