- Abstract
The article focuses on biological controversies in terms of bioobjectification process to analyze molecular and social aspects of biosecurity. Topics discussed include modifications in A/H5N1 Influenza virus to study as a bio-object, three sources of threat for biosecurity policies and their respective rationalities such as laboratory accidents, natural outbreaks and bioterrorism, and emerging infectious diseases (EID). A chart is also presented which depicts bio-objectification process.
