- Title
PATTERNED GROUND AS AN ARID LAND PHENOMENON.
- Authors
Gilman, Harold F.
- Abstract
The article provides an overview of the arid land patterned ground formation. Its processes involved the mechanical techniques of cellular convection necessary in the production of the patterned ground. Its weathering product consisted of hydrophilic clays as weathering agents undergoing an extreme wet and dry cycle. It was somehow observed that the decrease in its stability correlated with the emergence of its family patterns.
