- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an intubated patient with mitigating risks of tracheal tube migration during inter- or pre-hospital transport. It states that during transport, the supine position, deepened sedation, muscle relaxation and neck movements while on vehicle loading and unloading forces all risk changes in the position of tube tip in relation to the trachea.
