- Abstract
The article studies the preparation of polyamide (PA) and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) by a Brabender DSE25 co-twin screw extruder. Maleic anhydride (MAH) grafted high-density polyethylene (HDPE) was used as a compatibilizer. It states that mechanical and tribological tests showed that the tensile and bending strength of PA decrease with the increase of UHMWPE.
