The article discusses the author's views about using the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to fight copyright-related piracy as of 2016, and it mentions copyright pirates, the evolution of America's notice-and-takedown procedure for copyright-infringing content on the Internet, and robot-related robo-takedown requests. The legal rights and obligations of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and copyright holders are assessed, along with the 1976 U.S. Copyright Act.
