- Authors
White, John R.
- Abstract
The article discusses the discovery, interpretation and in-field preservation of the Kern Effigy. It states that the preservation of archaeological specimens and antiquities has been a problem. It lays out the progressive development of the discovery of Kern Effigy. It also demonstrates the physical appearance of the effigy and how it was exposed. It notes that the observation of the effigy led to hypothesis that it might have served more specific function than a simple ground drawing.
