- Abstract
The article discusses the British court case R v. H [2014] wherein the court convicted the applicant (H) on multiple counts of cruelty by neglect, rape, and sexual assaults committed against his daughter, who is the complainant (C). In ruling, the judge dismissed H's appeal for psychiatric evidence prepared by Doctor Boakes to be admitted in court to determine the credibility of C, and rejected H's contention that evidence from Doctors Atkin and McEwen was prejudiced against him.
