- Authors
Southworth, John
- Abstract
The article focuses on the discovery of a new class of a circumbinary planet that orbit a pair of stars instead of a single one. It says that the new planet was discovered by using the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASAs) Kepler space telescope. It mentions the use of the transit method which have discovered more than 200 planets. It cites the study conducted by W. F. Welsh and colleagues, regarding the three circumbinary planets such as Kepler -34b, 35 b, and 16 b.
