Dark days of the Triassic: Lost world.
- Authors
Smith, Roff
- Abstract
The article offers information on mass extinction and the theory of scientists Paul Olsen and Dennis Kent. It mentions that modern scientific views on mass extinctions were associated to massive volcanic activity in which it says that the Icelandic Laki volcanic eruption in 1783 has caused wide spread of crop failures and famine. Kent considers timeline as the only way to unravel the mystery concerning mass extinction. It explores the Triassic-Jurassic mass extinction research of Olsen and Kent.
