- Abstract
To explore the characteristics of potential safety hazards in urban rail transit projects, data from eight lines of urban rail transit in a city from 2016 to 2020 is selected for analysis. Based on complex network theory, an undirected weighted network model is initially constructed with the nodes identified as potential safety hazards and work types. The cumulative degree distribution and cumulative strength distribution are further used to describe the characteristics of the network. Then, from the dimension of the construction stage, the network is decomposed into multiple sub-networks and the overall characteristics of the sub-network are captured by network density and degree central potential. Moreover, the local characteristics of the sub-network are investigated through the sub-network diagram. The results show that the network is a scale-free network and most of the sub-networks have low network density. The t central nodes in these subnetworks suggests that the critical safety hazards easily occur in the scaffold and outside the foundation pit. The conclusions provide theoretical and practical reference for safety management in urban rail transit projects.
