- Abstract
An interview with architect Robert Anderson of the architectural firm Davis Brody Bond is presented. Anderson says that he is fortunate to be part in building the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) that changed his views of the world, its politics, cultures, languages, and varying beliefs. He talks about the approach of architect J. Max Bond Jr. to creating sites of memorialization, and Bond's role in the conception and design of the NMAAHC structure.
