- Abstract
An interview with several adopted Ethiopians living in Sweden, including Viktoria Walldin and Jakob Nilsson, is presented. When asked if she has affinity with the Ethiopian community in Sweden, Walldin expresses interest about the community but feels that their values and norms do not correspond with hers. Nillson explains that his relationship with Ehiopia is multi-faceted from a mix of indifference, to anger about not knowing enough about the history of the country, to curiosity about everything that he still does not know about it.
