- Authors
Rowell, Charles Henry
- Abstract
Presents an interview with reporter Mary Foster of Associated Press in New Orleans, Louisiana. When asked if she left New Orleans before Hurricane Katrina hit the city, she said that she did not leave because she was in the Superdome for the entire duration of the hurricane. Foster recounts the miserable situation of the evacuees, who remained calm and civilized. She extends her appreciation on the National Guardsmen and Superdome's management who directed the evacuees' safety and food.
