- Abstract
In the process of strengthening the construction of socialist spiritual civilization by the party and the state, the construction of teachers’ moral standards in China has lasted for 40 years since 1979. The process of teachers’ moral construction can be divided into the three stages of inheriting the tradition of being a model for others and setting a moral standards, highlighting the management function of teachers’ morality and incoqmrating the spirit of the rule of law, returning to teachers’ moral standards and strengthening the governance of teachers’ morality, showing the main function of the teacher’s moral standards has shifted from the moral education to the ethical governance, the main principle of teachers’ moral standards has changed from the general requirements to professional ethics, the main regulation of teachers’ moral standards has changed from the pursuit of sublime to the basic requirement. The construction of teachers’ moral standards in China can continue to strengthen the research, practice and experiment in refining the core values of teachers’ morality , constructing the system of teachers’ morality and perfecting the punishment mechanism of teachers’ morality, and try to establish a new pattern of teacher morality with Chinese characteristics.
