- Abstract
The analysis examines the risk of resistance development in black-grass (Alopecurus myosuroides) and ryegrass species (Lolium spp.) through the application of a mixture of the active ingredients pinoxaden and mesosulfuron. It is discussed whether the targeted combination of these active ingredients for grass control is effective and can slow down resistance development. The research project includes five sub-projects that investigate various aspects of resistance development, such as simulating the development of metabolic resistance, modeling resistance development depending on various factors, and monitoring the spread of herbicide-resistant biotypes. The aim is to validate the effectiveness of the combination of active ingredients compared to the individual components.
