- Abstract
The paper studies reproduction in Alghirnati's Dalli'ia. The paper examines the poetic formation of these two poems-the Grand Daughters-the Green, the Noni'ia, the Red and the Lami'ia. As far form as is concerned, the two are wonderful poems which are reproduced from the mother Dalli'ia which is itself the poet's fine creation. The poem is one of the poet's long poems that consists of 120 lines. More importantly is the fact that the poet reproduced the two the Grand Daughters, the paper's subject matters, which consists of 108 lines, all are regenerated from the mother Dalli'ia. The poet does will to choose any element from its conclusion which consists of 12 lines. Instead, he makes it as a characterization of the preceding lines. The first Daughter is green and it is the Noni'ia which is written in the green ink. The poem is written in the simple 'Mukhala' metre. It consists of 17 lines, the first seven are amatory opening. The eighth line shifts to eulogy. The remaining nine lines maintains eulogizing Sultan Yousif Bin Nasir. The second daughter is the red lami'ia written in the red ink. It consists of 17 lines, the first seven are amatory opening as before. In the eighth line the poet shifts to eulogy as he has done in the first Daughter. The last nine lines are also eulogistic of Sultan of Yousif Bin Nasir. Concerning contents, the two Daughters: the green, the Noni'ia, the red and the Lami'ia all are eulogistic of sultan Yousif Bin Nasir whose character is the center of the poet's interest in the two poems.
