- Abstract
The article focuses on the study of public documents related to the ineffective registration statements and precious metal mining issues under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933. It states that the ineffectiveness in the public utility group were related to large issues that were withdrawn by the registrants for technical reasons. It states that percentage of ineffective issues in precious metal mining was four time more the investment trust issues. It states that forty-one registration statements related to investment trust issues were registered under the Act on November 12, 1935.
