GLO:HWR/01mar21:ans16208-fig-0002.jpg PHOTO (COLOR): 2 Computed tomography angiogram image of tongue of tumour thrombus occluding the right internal jugular vein and extending inferiorly into the superior vena cava. gl After surgery, the patient received multimodality therapy with effect. Histopathology confirmed anaplastic thyroid carcinoma, comprising greater than 80% of the overall tumour volume, with a minor component of well-differentiated thyroid carcinoma (papillary thyroid carcinoma of follicular variant) transitioning into poorly differentiated cells.
