- Abstract
The results of long-term isothermal tests of samples of glass-filled PA-6 at 60-150°C are presented. It has been shown that an irreversible change in its strength properties occurs at T ≥ 150°C. A detailed study of the mechanical relaxation characteristics has revealed that the mechanism of the relaxation process in the polyamide changes at 140°C. Thus, the maximum environmental testing temperature for products made from glass-filled PA-6 should not exceed 140°C.
