- Title
If You See Something, Say Something: Cultivating an Actively-Caring-for-People Culture.
- Authors
Geller, E. Scott
- Abstract
The article discusses the concept of "If you see something, say something" and proposes a paradigm shift towards actively recognizing and appreciating desirable behavior instead of focusing on negative behavior. The author argues that positive consequences and supportive feedback are more effective than punitive measures in improving behavior and attitude. The article introduces the Actively-Caring-for-People (AC4P) Movement, which promotes acts of kindness and gratitude through a tracking system. The goal of the movement is to create a culture where desirable behavior is the norm and undesirable behavior becomes rare.
