The article looks at ethical behavior and fraud management in business. The author says that white-collar criminals typically display attitudes such as arrogance and amorality and are often highly intelligent and creative. He also notes they often ally with weak or troubled colleagues. He discusses corporate characteristics related to white-collar crime, including leadership tone and compensation policies. Checklists for assessing the risk of internal fraud are also offered.
