- Abstract
The article explores the risks brought by global securities litigation and regulatory enforcement activities to multinational companies trading on multiple international stock exchanges. The laws of Canada on securities exchanges is very similar to that of the U.S. like the recent legislation in the provinces of the country that created the fraud on the market type presumption. According to the author, litigations can be avoided by reviewing the company's liability insurance policy is enough to address such cases and evaluate the organization's directors and officers (D&O) policies.
