NO HUNGRY HELPERS.
- Authors
Cardillo, Robin Couch
- Abstract
The article reports on a survey by "Runzheimer Reports on Travel Management," a Runzheimer International newsletter which found that a reduction in travel-and-entertainment deductibility is not significantly affecting businesses in the United States. Frank Spaulding, vice president of human resources policies and benefits at Household International, comments on the tax change and how the company's units set their own restrictions on business travel, but are required to use Household's on-site travel agency to book flights. Data shows the effect of the tax reform on the accounting for meals.
