- Abstract
Skin lesions can be the dominating and/or presenting symptom in about 50% of patients and may be expressed as erythroderma.[6] On leprosy-endemic areas Lepra reaction as an infectious cause of erythroderma that should be also excluded.[7] Regarding the therapeutical approach that have been postulated for CIE control, prolonged low-dose corticosteroid or cyclosporine at sustained low doses,[3] phototherapy may be considered as a good alternative.
