- Abstract
The article discusses research on factors which affected improvement in the neurocognitive performance of HIV-infected patients in the Strategies for Management of Antiretroviral Therapy (SMART) trial. Topics include CD4-guided antiretroviral therapy (ART) versus continuous therapy, baseline CD4 lymphocyte counts before and after the tests, and neuropsychological testing for HIV patients.
