- Abstract
More workers are needed on the accommodation managements in proportion to other sectors as the production is based on intensive labor. The features on the tourism sector like having some jobs in the common areas with the customers, the obligation of making the services correctly in the first time, the simultaneous production and consumption needs to have the obligation of qualified employees. The workers on the tourism sector pay attention to the customers more than the workers on other sectors. In order the workers in the tourism sector to satisfy the customers, give a qualified and productive service, it is very important to select the human resources correctly. Selection of human resources also needs to decide very critically. In this study, the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process had been used on human resources selection in the tourism sector. In the study, the chosen 3 candidates as an example had been evaluated in terms of 20 sub-criteria in total that constituted the main criteria of Exterior Criteria, Internal Criteria, Professional Competency and Responsibility. As the result of evaluation, the most important main criteria had been determined as the professional competency. The most remarked sub-criteria on the candidates had been determined as having an experience and having a knowledge outfit for working in the hotel institutions.
