- Abstract
In an inventory of 1488 a number of texts are recorded - 25 to 150 copies per title - which belonged to the Domus Parva in Zwolle, where schoolboys received their first lessons in Latin. In view of their contents some of these books were rather meant for adults than for young readers however. An interpretation of this inventory provides some valuable information about the position of the printers, who started their career in a town where before their arrival printing with movable types was unknown.
