- Abstract
This article describes a case study of peristomal lesions. The patient presented with a one-month history of a slow-growing mass around a colostomy stoma. Physical examination of the mass revealed a pedunculated, dark-red nodule located on the peristomal skin. Histopathological examination revealed atypical tumour cells and many mitotic figures. A diagnosis of peristomal skin metastasis of colon cancer was made based on the physical and histopathological examinations.
