- Abstract
The article presents the validation of a questionnaire called "Measurement Instrument of Interaction in Higher Education (IMIES)" to evaluate interaction in university teaching. The questionnaire consists of 35 Likert-type items and has been validated with a sample of 2,170 university students at a university in northern Spain. The results show that the questionnaire has good properties and reliability measures in seven key factors. It is concluded that the IMIES is a useful tool for both faculty and universities in general to promote interaction in the classrooms.
