- Abstract
The article presents the editor's page of one of the issues of "Western States Jewish History." The editor offered information on Samuel Lezinsky, member of Congregation Sherith Israel, First Hebrew Benevolent Society and Pacific Lodge of B'nai B'rith. He also noted the early California roots of state senator Milton Marks who represents San Francisco county. The editor cited a letter from a lady from Hartsdale, New York who described the publication as extremely thoughtful and interesting. Another reader, Daniel N. Leeson of Los Altos, California, was tracing the descendants of a branch of her family. The editor also noted the deaths of two members of the Jewish community including Flora Fishman and Lawrence P. Frank, both from Los Angeles, California.
