- Authors
GAGO, VERÓNICA; CAVALLERO, LUCÍ
- Abstract
The article discusses the feminist movement in Argentina and their efforts to organize against the far-right administration of President Javier Milei. The administration has implemented austerity measures and attacked the rights of women and LGBTQI+ communities. The feminist movement is focused on resisting debt and financial colonization, which has disproportionately affected women. They also highlight the need for decolonization and building power to redefine violence. The article emphasizes that Argentina serves as a laboratory for understanding global neoliberalism and the intersections of war and violence. The feminist movement has been organizing protests and marches despite repressive measures and economic warfare. They aim to fight back through a feminist perspective that centers the needs of the people.
