The article explores the challenges that multinational companies face with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance in their dealings related to China . Topics discussed include discuss the tension that often occur between pursuing compliance and ethical conduct within a business entity; ways in which cultural diversity helps to support legal compliance and ethical behavior; and need of establishing an integrity culture that will help to achieve both compliance goals and ethical behavior.
