- Abstract
The article discusses the themes of Asian Americans in an Anti-Black World. Topics covered include the history of Asian immigrant groups in the U.S., white discrimination against the Chinese, the latter's anti-Black outlook, and Asian Americans' challenges in building cross-racial alliances, status in the context of criminal justice, and experienced racial disparities in criminal procedure. Also noted are efforts to reduce mass detention that may unite communities of color in moving forward.
