- Abstract
The article describes a conservative, multidiscipline approach in managing the case of predislocation syndrome in a 26-year-old female who complained of pain in the ball of her left foot which has not improved since stubbing her toe. It presents a brief overview of the meridians and their relation to the musculoskeletal system. It discusses local physiological effect of acupuncture, aetiology of subluxed metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joints, and the effect of effusion on MTP joint stabilisation.
