- Abstract
The article deals with the sintering and high-speed sintering of zirconia ceramics, a central material in dentistry. There are different generations of zirconia available on the market, which differ in their properties and reactions to sintering. The production of zirconia is a complex process involving various components. Each step influences the mechanical properties of the product. The article examines the influence of sintering on the optical properties of zirconia and finds that different sintering variants can lead to differences in translucency. It emphasizes that proper processing and adherence to manufacturer parameters are crucial for achieving optimal results.
