- Title
STEAM REFORMING.
- Abstract
This article discusses two advancements in chemical engineering. The first is a new approach to direct air capture (DAC) of CO2 developed by Holocene Climate Corp. The system uses an aqueous-based approach and operates at low temperatures, increasing its efficiency and reducing energy requirements. The second advancement is the ZoneFlow Reactor technology developed by Honeywell International and Zone-Flow Reactor Technologies, which increases the capacity of steam-methane reforming (SMR) by at least 15% without compromising safety or efficiency. Additionally, the article mentions a new technology developed by Mattiq that allows for the quick screening and testing of catalysts and materials for specific applications.
