The article provides information on the Matachines dance in Mexico. According to the author, the dance whose name was taken from the Matachines dancers was a representation of spiritual conquest of the Turks and Moors. Furthermore, she cited the two versions of the dance which is the "Spanish" and the "drum" version. Other information related to the dance are also mentioned.
