The author discusses her participation in a test of structural models containing attributes or qualities important in the Canadian and Norwegian societies where individualistic qualities were expected to improve how the Canadian group saw themselves while aging for the Norwegian group it was the collectivist qualities. She suggests that adjusting culturally-appropriate nursing care priorities is more likely to improve the goodness-of-fit and quality of nursing care.
