- Abstract
The article offers information on the industry advances in ink and toner chemistry which results to improvements in quality of digital printing. Developments in the production and quality of toners and dry inks, the main component for inkjet and laser printing, has stemmed to improved print quality. Manufacturers such as Canon, Ricoh, and Konica Minolta are continuously developing cost-effective and high-quality toners. The high cost of toners and inks has led to the emergence of the aftermarket or remanufacturing industry.
