- Abstract
This article focuses on the case of the Nulankeyutmonen Nkihtaqmikon (NN) v. Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) where the U.S. District Court ruled for the BIA saying it had the right to dismiss a Freedom of Information Act action filed by the NN which is a group of citizens who are members of the Passamaquoddy Tribe of Maine. NN alleged that BIA failed to do an adequate search in response to its request for records and "delayed disclosure" of the information intentionally.
