Abstract
The article reports that the state of Alaska has been ordered by a U.S. federal court to make available language assistance to Yup'ik-speaking tribes. Terms of an injunction issued by judge Tim Burgess include the recruitment of translators and bilingual poll workers in the Bethel area, and the provision of sample Yup'ik-language ballots.
