- Authors
Heller, Robert L.
- Abstract
This article discusses the developments in the Earth Science Curriculum Project's efforts to develop new curriculum materials in earth science. The rapid expansion of earth science as a subject in secondary school resulted from the growing interest in scientific phenomena relating to the earth and its environs, and also by the impact of massive course-content improvement programs in other fields of science education in secondary schools. The goal of the project is to develop course materials that will provide the basis for a quality earth science course.
