- Abstract
The article discusses the practice of financial companies in using tests to screen potential employees. Various products that companies have used to screen applicants are discussed, including the Myers-Briggs Personality Inventory. Specific areas that these examinations test employees' on are mentioned, including their ability to acquire information. The opinions of those who believe that employee tests are not an accurate at predicting an employee's aptitude for the position are presented. The way in which the National Football League (NFL) uses pre-employment testing is discussed.
