- Abstract
The article discusses a study which analyses the effects of modified arabinoxylan obtained from MGN-3 hemicelluloses of rice bran on galactosamine (n-GalN) induced interleukin-18 expression and hepatitis in rats. It reports that MGN-3 and its low molecular weight hydrolysate alleviate n-GalN induced hepatitis in rats. It suggests protective effect of interleukin-18 expression against n-GalN induced liver injury.
