- Abstract
The article discusses the relationship between Central American spider monkeys and howler monkey species and the tropical plant bromeliads. The author offers information on a research which examines the behavior of the primates towards the plant which uses bromeliads as source of food and water supply considering that the monkeys are predominantly fruit eaters.
